Paper Tole
In my ‘About Me’ page here I mentioned that over the years, I have followed a number of creative pursuits. Initially, I followed a number of creative pursuits in the broad category of Fibre and Fabrics e.g. Dressmaking, Knitting, Hand Embroidery and Quilting. More recently, I have been pursuing Paper/Art/Drawing /Multimedia interests.
I am still equally passionate about both.
Now, I can see a multitude of ways where both categories overlap and intermingle e.g. I use quilt blocks as a basis to create Tangled Line Art pieces. I also have plans to print some of my Tangled Line Art pieces onto fabric and make them into Wall Hangings, File Covers, Custom Bags etc.
With the above in mind, I have created ‘Tangled Line Art’ as my Paper/Multimedia website. I am also currently in the process of writing a second website to cover my Fibre and Fabric interests. Whilst the sites will relate to each other in some areas, the overall content within each site will be focused within its’ own theme.

My Completed Paper Tole
Whilst ‘Paper Tole’ doesn’t really fit into ‘Tangled Line Art’ it is a closer fit to Tangled Line Art than it would be for my ‘Fibre and Fabric’ website currently in progress.
I completed the Paper Tole/s shown below over a period of a couple of years. Whilst I really enjoyed completing these pieces, it wasn’t really something that said ‘pick me’ ‘pick me’ to pursue to any great extent. Mind you, it certainly improves ‘attention to detail’ and ‘fine motor skills’ 🙂 I thought I would add them here to add something a little different, so the Paper Tole’s wouldn’t feel left out :), or, truth be told, maybe just because I like them:)
