Acrylic Pouring
I have been a bit slack over the last month or so in that I haven’t created a new ‘Sashings’ design 🙁 I haven’t been sitting around twiddling my thumbs though:) I have been taking a look at ‘Acrylic Pouring’, something I have been wanting to do for some time. In the last week and a bit, I have created 30+ ‘Acrylic Pours’. You can see them in my ‘Acrylic Pour’ Gallery here.

As I investigate in more detail, I will add several more detailed posts detailing what I have found works best for me.
Acrylic Pouring is at the opposite end of the scale to Tangled Line Art. For me, it falls into the broad category of Art Journaling/Mixed Media. I love the ‘random-ness’ of Art Journaling/Mixed Media and the ‘precision’ of Tangled Line Art. They balance each other out.
Over the next few weeks, I plan on looking into Acrylic Pouring further and work out what works best for me in this area. I also want to create the next piece in my ‘Sashings’ series.
